Eligibility

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering & Technology / Management / Economics / Social Science / Biological Science / Pure Science / Commerce / Humanities with First Class shall be considered for admission to the Fellow Programme.
  • Candidates must apply with CAT / GMAT / GRET / GRE / UGC-JRF scores valid as on the last date of application.

Last Date of Application: 15th October, 2026

Entrance test will be conducted by DSB (in absence of CAT / GMAT / JRF score) followed by a presentation of the proposed research area & personal interview.

Our process

How the selection works

Four stages, from the form on this site through to the interview with the doctoral committee.

  1. 01

    Submit the online application

    Fill in the digital form — personal details, academic record, research interest and statement of purpose. You can leave and return; your answers are saved on your device.

  2. 02

    Qualify on a test score

    Apply with a valid CAT, GMAT, GRET, GRE or UGC-JRF score. Candidates without one sit the entrance test conducted by DSB.

  3. 03

    Present your research area

    Shortlisted candidates present the research area they propose to work in before the doctoral committee.

  4. 04

    Personal interview

    A final interview assesses research aptitude, subject depth and fit with the faculty's areas of work.
